The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) in Mabelvale, AR, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of low-income seniors aged 60 and older by providing essential food assistance in the form of nutritious USDA foods. Our mission is to not only combat hunger among elderly individuals but also to support family stability in low-income households. Through our monthly food distribution and valuable nutrition education, we aim to create a safety net for seniors facing food insecurity. While we currently maintain an active list and a waiting list for our services, eligible seniors may also qualify for additional support through the quarterly TEFAP program. Food boxes are readily accessible at local Senior Centers, ensuring our community's elderly population receives the nourishment they deserve.
