The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant in Prairie Grove, AR, is dedicated to supporting individuals facing financial hardships resulting from chronic, terminal, or rare diagnoses such as cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and Huntington’s disease. This vital assistance program provides critical utility and grocery support to those in need, ensuring that individuals have access to essential resources during challenging times. While the grant covers either utility bills or grocery expenses, we also collaborate with various organizations to connect our applicants with additional resources and assistance as required. Our mission is to alleviate some of the burdens faced by individuals as they navigate their health challenges.
