In Trumann, AR, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC offers vital services that include providing nutrient-rich supplemental foods, comprehensive nutrition education to bolster diet and health practices, encouragement and support for breastfeeding, and valuable referrals to other essential health services.
