At the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona in Benson, we are dedicated to providing vital emergency food assistance to low-income individuals and families through the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). This federal initiative is designed to supplement the diets of those who need it most. We welcome eligible families to access emergency food boxes once a month, with the quantity of food based on household size. To participate, applicants will need to self-declare their income status according to the guidelines set by the Department of Economic Security and provide some essential information, including names, birthdates of family members, proof of residency in our service area, and a photo ID. Our mission is to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry, and we strive to make this process as straightforward and supportive as possible.
