In Kayenta, AZ, the Moenkopi Senior Center is dedicated to combating hunger among the elderly, specifically serving Hopi Elders in Moenkopi Village and the surrounding Hopi Reservation. Our mission is to ensure that our senior community receives essential nutrition through our meal delivery program, which provides nutritious meals directly to the homes of those in need, particularly focusing on individuals facing physical impairments. Though our center is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain committed to delivering meals to our elders, and we look forward to resuming our congregate meal services once the Hopi Tribal Council reopens the senior center. We believe in nourishing our elders with care and respect, ensuring they feel supported and valued in every step of this journey.
