Youth On Their Own (YOTO) is dedicated to empowering homeless youth in Tucson and Pima County, Arizona, by supporting their high school graduation and overall success. Since 1986, YOTO has worked relentlessly to dismantle barriers to education for students in grades 6-12 who are experiencing housing insecurity. By providing essential financial assistance and addressing basic human needs, we ensure that these young individuals have what they require to stay in school and thrive. Our commitment extends beyond graduation, as we also assist graduates up to the age of 24 in their pursuit of higher education and skills for self-sufficiency. Each year, we serve over 1,500 students, tailoring our support based on their expressed needs. YOTO envisions a future where all young people reach their full potential as empowered and productive members of our community.
