Pima Meals on Wheels is dedicated to ensuring homebound seniors and their spouses in Vail, AZ receive the vital nutrition they need through our home-delivered meal program. We provide each participant with one-third of their daily nutritional needs, featuring meals that are thoughtfully prepared using low-fat, low-sodium, low-sugar, and high-fiber ingredients, alongside a rich variety of fruits, vegetables, and entrees. Our compassionate service ensures that seniors can continue to enjoy healthy meals in the comfort of their homes. To access our program, individuals can contact us for an eligibility screening, after which they will be connected with a local agency for an in-home evaluation. Although we suggest a voluntary donation of $2.00 per meal, we never deny service to those who are unable to contribute. We simply ask that participants are present to receive their deliveries or notify the program manager in advance.
