This serene coastal facility creates a nurturing recovery environment with its lush landscaping, peaceful gazebo, and comfortable community spaces. Notably, Wayside House accommodates pregnant women and welcomes family visits, including children, during Saturday visitations, with plenty of toys available for little ones. The treatment approach at Wayside House centers around 12-Step principles, actively connecting clients with community-based support groups. Women receive trauma-informed individual and group therapy complemented by essential life skills training in parenting and nutrition. The program offers specialized support for those with concurrent eating disorders. The residential program accommodates 28 women for a 90-day stay structured in two phases. Initially, residents follow a highly structured schedule focused on intensive treatment and reflection.
