The Disaster Relief Program, an initiative by the Florida Baptist Convention, is dedicated to offering crucial support to those affected by natural disasters in Gainesville, FL and throughout the state. Our mission is to provide immediate food assistance, including hot meals, while also facilitating cleanup recovery and offering temporary child care services to families in need. We recognize the emotional toll disasters take, which is why we also provide spiritual support to uplift those we help. Our program revolves around community engagement, coordinating volunteers who are eager to lend a hand during these challenging times.
