The Rural Mobile Food Outreach Program is dedicated to serving the five rural counties surrounding Gainesville, FL, by delivering essential food assistance and personal care products directly to those in need. Understanding the challenges faced by many, especially the elderly and children living in poverty, our dedicated program coordinator and volunteers travel to provide emergency food and necessary supplies to individuals who struggle to make it to town. Throughout the year, we distribute special bags filled with school supplies to support children’s education and ensure they have the resources for a successful start to the school year, as well as holiday packages that cater to family needs. Our mission is to ensure that everyone in these rural communities has access to the basic necessities that support their health and well-being.
