Healthy Start Coalition in Longwood, FL, is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellbeing of our community's most vulnerable members, targeting the reduction of infant mortality and low birth weight while promoting healthy developmental outcomes for children up to age three. We offer a variety of vital support services, including outreach, care coordination, childbirth and parenting education, nutrition and psychosocial counseling, tobacco cessation programs, breastfeeding support, and home visiting services. Our program is open to all pregnant women, regardless of marital status, economic background, or immigration status, who are identified as high-risk for poor pregnancy outcomes. We invite expectant mothers to connect with their OB/GYN to initiate screening for our comprehensive Healthy Start services and ensure access to the care they need for themselves and their babies.
