The Literacy in Pre-school (FLIP) Program in North Fort Myers, FL, is dedicated to empowering young children with essential food literacy skills. Our program educates preschoolers on making healthy food choices through engaging lessons centered around fresh produce. Volunteers guide students in discovering the origins of food, its cultivation, and how to prepare nutritious snacks at home. Each child leaves with a piece of produce and a delicious recipe, ensuring families can enjoy healthy eating together. Additionally, we host regular meetings for family members, fostering a supportive community focused on achieving positive health outcomes for all.
