At the Healthy Start Coalition serving Jefferson, Madison, and Taylor in Palm Bay, FL, we are dedicated to improving the health and developmental well-being of pregnant women, infants, and young children up to age three. Our mission is to reduce infant mortality rates and the prevalence of low birth weight babies through compassionate, targeted support services. We provide vital resources including outreach, care coordination, childbirth and parenting education, nutrition and psychosocial counseling, as well as tobacco education and breastfeeding support. Our inclusive program welcomes all pregnant women, regardless of marital, economic, or immigration status, who are identified as high-risk for poor pregnancy outcomes, including post-partum women and infants.
