Healthy Start Coalition in Saint Augustine, FL, is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of pregnant women and children up to age three. Our mission focuses on reducing infant mortality and the incidence of low birth weight births, while fostering healthier developmental outcomes. We offer a comprehensive range of targeted support services, including outreach, care coordination, childbirth education, and parenting support, all designed to meet the needs of families facing health risks. Our services also encompass nutrition and psychosocial counseling, tobacco cessation education, and breastfeeding support, ensuring every participant receives the necessary tools for a healthy start. We welcome all pregnant women, regardless of their marital, economic, or immigration status, to join our program if they are at high risk for poor pregnancy outcomes.
