Healthy Start Coalition in Sebring, FL, is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of pregnant women, infants, and young children up to age three. Our mission focuses on reducing infant mortality rates and the prevalence of low birth weight babies through comprehensive support services tailored to address the specific risks faced by families. We provide essential resources such as outreach programs, care coordination, childbirth and parenting education, nutrition counseling, psychosocial support, and tobacco cessation assistance. Our services are available to all pregnant women, regardless of marital status, economic background, or immigration status, particularly those at high risk for poor pregnancy outcomes, including postpartum women and their infants. To begin the journey towards a healthier start, prospective participants are encouraged to see their OB/GYN for a screening to qualify for our program.
