Greater Brandon Meals on Wheels is committed to providing essential nourishment to the homebound residents of Valrico, FL, who are unable to prepare meals for themselves. Operating Monday through Friday, our dedicated volunteers deliver freshly prepared mid-day meals, which typically include a balanced entrée, vegetables, starch, salad, and dessert, ensuring that each client receives nutritious support. We partner with local churches in the Brandon community to coordinate meal preparation and delivery, with meals reaching clients between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Individuals referred by families, friends, or healthcare providers are screened to verify their eligibility, whether their need is temporary or long-term. With each meal delivery, we strive to foster a sense of care, community, and support, while a suggested donation helps sustain our vital service.
