Meals on Wheels in Vero Beach, FL, is dedicated to serving the nutritional and social needs of seniors in Indian River County. Our mission, part of the Senior Resource Association, is to uphold the independence and dignity of older adults by delivering hot, nutritious meals directly to their doors through our compassionate volunteers. For many seniors, these daily visits provide vital social interaction and wellness checks, ensuring they feel connected and secure in their homes. In addition to meal delivery, we offer information referral services and transportation support to empower seniors and their families. We also recognize the importance of pets in enhancing the well-being of older adults, which is why we provide pet food for our Meals on Wheels recipients whenever funding allows.
