At the Healthy Start Coalition in West Palm Beach, FL, our mission is to foster healthier beginnings for infants and their families by significantly reducing infant mortality and the incidence of low birth weight babies. We provide comprehensive support services tailored to address the unique needs of pregnant women, infants, and children up to three years old. Our offerings include outreach and care coordination to connect families with crucial services, childbirth and parenting education, nutrition and psychosocial counseling, tobacco cessation support, breastfeeding education, and home visiting programs. We welcome all pregnant women, regardless of marital, economic, or immigration status, who are at high risk for adverse pregnancy outcomes, including postpartum women and their infants. To engage in our supportive programs, prospective participants should first schedule an appointment with their OB/GYN for a Healthy Start screening.
