Veggie Van is a vital mobile marketplace serving Zephyrhills, FL, and the surrounding underserved communities of Hillsborough and East Pasco counties. Our mission focuses on providing food assistance through the distribution of fresh, nutritious fruits and vegetables, ensuring healthy options for individuals and families in need. Participants can access our services for just $4 a month, allowing them to choose their produce to fill two bags each month. Currently operational during the COVID-19 pandemic, we offer free produce bags to support those affected. We proudly serve communities including Wimauma Village, Tampa Heights, Sulphur Springs, Plant City, Dover, TGH Healthpark in Tampa, and Lacoochee.
