GraceWay Recovery Residence in Albany, Georgia offers women a comprehensive, long-term approach to addiction recovery. Located in a Victorian home in downtown Albany, the program provides a warm, nurturing environment where women can address past challenges while receiving supportive guidance from counselors. The structured 90-day program incorporates daily routines including chores, exercise, mindfulness meditation, counselor-led groups, spirituality sessions, 12-step meetings, individual therapy, life skills training, and recreational activities. With thirteen beds available, women commit to the program 30 days at a time. Upon completion, residents can transition to The Way Sober Living apartments next door, where nine fully furnished two-bedroom units allow women to strengthen their recovery skills within a supportive community for an additional 90 days. During this phase, women can work at one of two recovery-friendly employment opportunities: The Bread House & Granary or The Whittlesey House. These positions help build independence and self-sufficiency through practical money and time management in a temptation-free environment. This gradual transition helps build confidence, responsibility, and financial stability, fostering empowerment and creating a foundation for lasting recovery. GraceWay also provides traveling intervention services to help families guide loved ones into treatment.
