Project HEAL Americus, GA

About Meal Support Program

The Meal Support Program in Americus, GA, is dedicated to providing free and accessible meal support for individuals aged 16 and over who are navigating eating disorder recovery at the outpatient level. Our program offers live, facilitated virtual drop-in group meals that foster a supportive and safe environment, allowing participants to enjoy nutrition with guidance from skilled nutrition practitioners in training for their CNS certification. We host meal support sessions four times a day, including two lunch and two dinner times, and individuals can attend based on their availability. This program emphasizes a nurturing approach to recovery while helping participants develop healthier relationships with food. Please note that we focus on meal support and are not equipped for crisis intervention; for urgent needs, we recommend reaching out to appropriate emergency services.
