About Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Atlanta, GA, is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission is to empower families by providing essential resources such as nutrition education, supplemental foods, and comprehensive breastfeeding support. We also offer referrals for health care services to ensure that each child has access to the nutrition they need to thrive. Non-birthing parents and guardians who are the primary caregivers for WIC-eligible children facing nutritional risks are encouraged to apply, ensuring that every child has the opportunity for a healthy start in life.
