About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Austell, GA, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in food sovereignty by providing hands-on training in sustainable agricultural practices. Our program equips Fellows to advocate for a food system that is just, equitable, and environmentally sound. Through a robust curriculum that emphasizes organic food system education, participants engage in initiatives like growing diversified crops, maintaining community gardens, and supporting local farmers markets. Our six-month immersive experience on the Allegheny Farm Campus culminates in a Community Action Year where Fellows collaborate with regional non-profits to enhance food access and promote ecological literacy. We believe in accessibility; therefore, we do not charge tuition for our Fellowship. If you're passionate about food justice and want to make a tangible difference, apply by March to join us for an enriching journey from May through October.
