About Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Program in Buford, GA, is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of low-income families. We provide essential food assistance to pregnant women, new mothers, and young children up to the age of five who are at risk for nutritional deficiencies. Through our program, participants receive nutritious food vouchers, nutrition assessments, health screenings, and valuable educational resources on healthy eating and breastfeeding support. We serve families with incomes at or below 185 percent of the federal poverty level and those enrolled in Medicaid. To find out if you qualify, we encourage you to take the WIC Eligibility Assessment online and then contact your local WIC office to schedule an appointment and learn about the necessary documents for enrollment. Together, we can ensure that our community's women and children receive the nutrition and support they need for a healthier future.
