The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Calhoun, GA, strives to cultivate a new generation of advocates for a food system that champions social, environmental, and economic justice. Our program is dedicated to empowering selected Fellows through comprehensive organic food system education, ensuring no tuition fees are charged to promote accessibility to all aspiring leaders. Over a six-month experiential residency at our campus, Fellows will learn to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement health-focused educational sessions, maintain community gardens, and foster food and ecological literacy in schools. After their residency, they embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to enhance access to healthy foods, support farmers markets, and mentor future fellows.
