Through this transformative fellowship, participants receive comprehensive education in organic food systems without any tuition costs, emphasizing accessibility for all. Our program encourages Fellows to engage in meaningful community work, including growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing innovative health education, maintaining community and school gardens, and enhancing food literacy within local schools. Selected Fellows embark on a six-month, hands-on residency at our Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, where they actively apply their skills in collaboration with regional non-profit organizations. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience running from May to October.
