About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Chatsworth, GA, is dedicated to fostering a just, sustainable food system through empowering individuals to become advocates and educators. Our program provides comprehensive training in organic food systems, enabling Fellows to cultivate diversified crops on market-style farms, run educational health sessions, and maintain community gardens. We are committed to accessibility, offering this fellowship without tuition fees, ensuring that anyone passionate about food justice can participate. Over six months at our immersive Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows will gain hands-on experience in food and ecological literacy, while also developing strategies to enhance access to healthy foods through direct-to-consumer programs and farmers markets. Following their training, they engage in a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profit organizations to utilize their skills and drive meaningful change in their communities. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship we run from May to October.
