About Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Program in Clarkston, GA is dedicated to providing essential health and nutrition services to vulnerable families. This federally-funded program supports pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, postpartum women, and children up to five years old, especially those at nutritional risk or living at or below 185 percent of the federal poverty level. WIC offers nutrition assessments, health screenings, and access to healthy food vouchers redeemable at authorized vendors. Participants receive personalized education and referrals to additional health and social services to ensure their families thrive. To determine eligibility, individuals can complete the WIC Eligibility Assessment available on Georgia’s WIC website, but local WIC offices are the final authority on enrollment. We invite those in need to connect with us for support in nourishing the next generation.
