About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Conyers, GA, offered by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of educators and advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. With a strong focus on food and ecological literacy, Fellows will also support farmers markets and direct-to-consumer initiatives while developing channels to improve access to healthy foods. After a transformative six-month residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows will undertake a Community Action Year, partnering with local non-profits to apply their knowledge and skills. Applications are accepted until March each year, with experiences running from May to October.
