The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Covington, GA is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a just and sustainable food system. This immersive program empowers participants through hands-on training and education focused on organic food systems, ensuring that every Fellow emerges as a knowledgeable teacher and community leader. With no tuition fees, our Fellowship prioritizes accessibility, allowing individuals to engage in practical learning experiences that include growing and distributing diverse crops, maintaining community gardens, and promoting food and ecological literacy in schools. Selected Fellows commit six months to experiential learning at our Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their skills in collaboration with local non-profit organizations. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March each year and join us in transforming food systems while enhancing community health and access to nutritious foods.
