Backpack Buddies is dedicated to alleviating hunger among families in Dahlonega, GA, by providing essential food assistance through our weekend backpack program. We supply children with nutritious meals to ensure they do not go hungry when school is not in session, allowing them to thrive academically and socially. Our service period extends a maximum of two years, supporting families in need during this critical time. We invite parents to join our supportive parent group every Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Student Outreach Center located at LCMS, where they can also pick up food early, fostering a sense of community and shared experience.
