About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Dahlonega, GA, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates and educators in sustainable food systems. Through hands-on training at our Allegheny Farm, we empower Fellows to champion a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. Our Fellowship is tuition-free, ensuring that anyone with a passion for food justice can access this transformative experience. Participants engage in a six-month immersive program where they learn about organic food production, facilitate community gardens, and implement innovative educational initiatives in health care and ecological literacy. After completing their training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to expand access to healthy foods and support local food initiatives. Applying for the Fellowship is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact; applications are accepted until March for the program running from May to October.
