About Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Program in Decatur, GA, is dedicated to supporting the health and well-being of low-income families. Serving pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, postpartum women, and children under five years old, WIC aims to prevent nutritional deficiencies through vital services. We provide nutritious food benefits, health screenings, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support, ensuring families have access to resources that promote healthy growth. Our program is designed for those with household incomes at or below 185 percent of the federal poverty level or who are enrolled in Medicaid. To determine eligibility, families can use the WIC Eligibility Assessment on Georgia’s WIC website for initial guidance, followed by scheduling an appointment with their local WIC office for a full consultation. Together, we are committed to building a healthier future for women, infants, and children in our community.
