In Douglas, GA, One-On-One Nutrition Consultations, a program of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, is dedicated to supporting cancer patients and their caregivers through free, personalized consultations by phone. Our mission is to empower individuals navigating the challenges of cancer with practical nutrition education and expert guidance. During a 30-minute session with a registered dietitian, participants can explore strategies to enhance their nutrition, manage treatment side effects, and gain valuable tips for meal planning and grocery shopping. We also provide support on how to care for loved ones during treatment and what nutrition-related questions to pose to their healthcare teams. With access to additional nutrition resources available online and in the community, we strive to foster a supportive environment where patients feel informed and cared for throughout their journey.
