About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Fayetteville, GA, is dedicated to fostering a just and sustainable food system through empowering individuals to become knowledgeable advocates and educators. Our fellowship provides comprehensive training in organic food systems without tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all. Fellows engage in hands-on experiences at our farm, enabling them to learn and implement practices such as growing diversified crops, maintaining community gardens, and enhancing food literacy in schools. Participants also actively contribute to local food initiatives, including farmers markets and direct-to-consumer sales channels, to improve access to healthy foods in their communities. The program spans six months of immersive training followed by a Community Action Year, where fellows apply their skills alongside regional non-profit partners. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience taking place from May to October.
