MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Gainesville, GA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity annually, ensuring they are referred to appropriate weight management options tailored to their individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of services, including group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. Additionally, our MOVE! Coach mobile app provides Veterans the flexibility to manage their weight independently. For those facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues, we also offer weight loss medications and bariatric surgery options.
