About Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Program in Griffin, GA, is dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of our community's most vulnerable members—pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children up to age five. As a federally-funded initiative, WIC provides essential food assistance and nutrition support for families with incomes at or below 185 percent of the federal poverty level or those enrolled in Medicaid. Participants benefit from access to healthy foods through special vouchers, comprehensive nutrition assessments, health screenings, and valuable education on breastfeeding and nutrition. Our goal is to empower families at nutritional risk to lead healthier lives. To see if you qualify for our services, please complete the WIC Eligibility Assessment available on Georgia’s WIC website, and reach out to your local WIC office in Griffin to schedule an appointment and learn about required documentation.
