About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Hampton, GA, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders committed to a food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Through a hands-on, six-month immersive program at the Allegheny Farm Campus, selected Fellows receive comprehensive organic food system education without any tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all. Our Fellows engage in meaningful projects such as growing and distributing diverse crops, implementing health-focused educational sessions, maintaining community gardens, and enhancing food and ecological literacy within schools. Additionally, they actively support farmers markets and create channels for improved access to healthy foods. With a focus on community impact, each Fellow transitions into a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to apply their knowledge and foster positive change across the region. We invite passionate individuals to join us in transforming our food systems for the better, with applications due each March for the upcoming program cycle from May to October.
