Open Hand Cooking Matters (OHCM) is dedicated to empowering SNAP and WIC-eligible individuals in Hampton, GA, through hands-on culinary education. Our six-week cooking classes equip participants with essential skills, from mastering knife techniques to selecting healthy, budget-friendly fruits and vegetables. With a focus on nutrition and practical cooking methods, our experienced instructors create a welcoming environment where community members can learn to prepare nutritious meals, ultimately fostering food independence and better health in our community.
