Richmond County Health Department Hephzibah, GA

About Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Program in Hephzibah, GA, is dedicated to providing essential health and nutrition support for low-income pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, postpartum women, and children up to age five who are at risk for nutritional deficiencies. Through our federally-funded program, we offer personalized nutrition assessments, health screenings, and education to ensure families receive the resources they need for healthy development. Participants benefit from special checks to purchase nutritious foods from authorized vendors, along with access to breastfeeding support and referrals to additional health and social services. We invite eligible families earning at or below 185 percent of the federal poverty level, or enrolled in Medicaid, to apply and discover how we can support their nutritional needs. For information on how to qualify and apply for our services, please contact your local WIC office to schedule an appointment.
