MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Jackson, GA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through personalized weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity each year and guided toward appropriate weight management services tailored to their unique needs and preferences. We offer a variety of options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides in-home support and clinician contact as needed. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans who continue to face challenges despite trying MOVE! services. We invite Veterans interested in improving their health to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
