The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in LaGrange, GA, is dedicated to supporting individuals newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes through a comprehensive and free 12-month educational experience. Participants receive six insightful e-booklets tailored to their unique needs, along with a monthly e-newsletter that provides seasonal tips and vital resources in both English and Spanish. Our program not only offers information about local community events but also invites enrollees who share their phone numbers to join our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A sessions. During these sessions, participants can engage with ADA experts to address their diabetes-related questions, learn about the important link between diabetes and heart health, and enjoy giveaways designed to help them thrive in managing their condition.
