About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Based in Leesburg, GA, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to empowering individuals to advocate for a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically equitable. This program offers a transformative six-month experiential education at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where selected Fellows engage in hands-on learning about organic food systems. During their time, they collaborate with community partners to grow diversified crops, implement innovative health care education, maintain gardens in schools and communities, and promote food and ecological literacy. The Fellowship also emphasizes mentorship, with participants training the next generation of advocates. By removing tuition costs, we enhance accessibility to this vital program, creating pathways for increased access to healthy foods across our community. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience spanning from May to October.
