About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Loganville, GA, champions a future where food systems are equitable and sustainable. We provide a transformative, tuition-free training program designed to equip Fellows with the knowledge and skills to advocate for social, environmental, and economic justice in agriculture. Our hands-on curriculum emphasizes organic food system education, enabling participants to grow and distribute diverse crops, maintain school and community gardens, and enhance food literacy in local schools. During their six-month immersive experience at AMI's Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows engage in practical learning and community-based projects, including supporting farmers markets and developing distribution channels that improve access to healthy foods. Following the intensive training, our Fellows enter a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profit organizations to apply their learning and make a meaningful impact. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
