About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Ringgold, GA, is dedicated to fostering a sustainable and equitable food system by sponsoring, training, and empowering individuals to become champions of social, environmental, and economic justice in food systems. Our program offers comprehensive organic food system education, enabling Fellows to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement innovative educational sessions in health care, and cultivate community gardens that enhance food access. Participants engage in hands-on learning at our scenic farm campus, where they spend six months immersed in experiential training, followed by a year of community action where they collaborate with regional non-profit organizations to promote food literacy and support farmers markets and direct-to-consumer initiatives. We strive to make this transformative program accessible by not charging tuition, and we encourage those eager to make a difference in their communities to apply by March for the opportunity to start their journey in May.
