Through hands-on experiences at the Allegheny Farm, selected Fellows engage in a rigorous six-month program that provides organic food system education and practical skills, promoting access to healthy foods in their communities. This fellowship encourages collaboration with regional non-profits to grow diversified crops, maintain community gardens, integrate food literacy into educational settings, support farmers markets, and enhance community food initiatives. Our commitment to equity is reflected in our tuition-free model, ensuring that all passionate learners can join us in this vital mission. Interested individuals can apply by March each year for this transformative experience that runs from May to October.
