About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Rossville, GA is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates for a sustainable and equitable food system. Our program equips chosen Fellows with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to promote socially, environmentally, and economically just farming practices. Over six months, Fellows engage in immersive training at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they learn about organic food system education and have opportunities to work alongside various local partners. This includes growing and distributing diversified crops, supporting farmers markets, and implementing educational initiatives in schools and communities. By eliminating tuition costs, we ensure that our Fellowship is accessible to all passionate individuals. After their training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with regional non-profits to put their skills into practice and enhance food access within the community. We invite aspiring leaders in food systems to apply by March for this transformative program that runs from May to October each year.
