About Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Program in Stone Mountain, GA, is dedicated to nurturing the health and well-being of families. This federally-funded initiative supports pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, postpartum women, and children ages 1 to 5, including foster children, who are at risk for nutritional deficiencies. WIC provides access to essential resources such as healthy food vouchers for WIC-authorized vendors, nutrition assessments, health screenings, and valuable education on breastfeeding. We welcome applications from families earning at or below 185 percent of the federal poverty level, as well as those enrolled in Medicaid. To explore your eligibility for WIC services, please take the WIC Eligibility Assessment available online, but be sure to schedule an appointment with your local WIC office for a comprehensive review and to learn about the necessary documentation. Together, we are committed to ensuring that our community's mothers and children receive the nutrition they need to thrive.
