About Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Nutrition Program in Stone Mountain, GA, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of communities by providing essential support to low-income pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, infants, and young children. Our mission is to ensure that families at or below 185 percent of the federal poverty level have access to vital resources that protect against nutritional deficiencies. Through our program, we offer special checks for purchasing healthy foods at authorized vendors, along with comprehensive nutrition assessments, health screenings, and educational resources. Participants also receive breastfeeding support and referrals to additional health and social services, all tailored to meet individual needs. If you are a low-income parent or guardian of a child under five, we encourage you to explore our services to see if you qualify. To apply, simply use the WIC Eligibility Assessment online, then schedule a visit with us to discuss required documentation and start your journey towards better health for you and your children.
