Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and quality of life for Veterans through a comprehensive approach to weight management and health promotion. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity, providing personalized referrals to various weight management services tailored to individual needs and preferences. Participants can choose from group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, or utilize TeleMOVE!, which offers in-home messaging and clinician support. The MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans who prefer a self-directed path to weight management, while additional options like weight loss medications and bariatric surgery are available for those who have tried MOVE! but continue to face challenges.
